Bookish
ONE. Have you read any of the The 24 Most Popular Book Club Picks on Goodreads? I’ve read almost half of the books on the list.
TWO. I love seeing What this Bookstore’s Customers Bought in April 2018. In the bookstore in my town, I noticed a heavy marketing of The Female Persuasion, Meg Wolitzer.
THREE. Major book awards this month include The Nebula Awards and Best Translated Book Awards.
FOUR. Are you participating in any of the May #BookBlogger events?
FIVE. Do you follow the NYTimes Bestseller List? We recently featured Reading From The Bestsellers List [Ready Player One]. Have you read it – or watched the movie yet?
SIX. I finished reading Caraval, Stephanie Garber which was a fun young adult novel with an interesting world of magic (and currently the hardcover is only $9.99 @ Amazon). My next read was an audiobook to keep me company while I traveled – Circe, Madeline Miller. It’s a wild tale of the Greek gods.

I’ve read 10 of the Best Book Group Books list…and all the others are on my TBR list!
Ready Player One was my favorite book of the year the year I read it – and my son and husband loved it, too! It was one of those books we passed around the house, so the three of us went to see the movie and enjoyed it, too – luckily, it had been long enough since reading the book that none of us could tell what had been changed, so we just enjoyed it.
Don’t forget – Big Book Summer will start at the end of the month, Memorial Day weekend! I can;t wait – my Big Books have been piling up!
