Here’s a look at some interesting things we read/ saw / thought / did this week.

  1. I’m gearing up for a 2 day (work) road trip this week, and took advantage of I got in on this deal to Get a $10 Amazon Credit Just For Starting an Audible Free Trial. The first book I downloaded is In Our Summer Reading (I)nbox {2016 Series Releases} #SummerAtoZEnd of Watch (Bill Hodges #3), Stephen King.
  2. Barnes & Noble is launching four “concept” stores next year, and in addition to featuring an expanded food menu, they will be selling beer and wine.
  3. I Got Your Weird Right Here: 100 Must-Read Strange and Unusual Novels is a booklist I just had to save. I like a dosage of weird every now and again.
  4. I can totally relate to 29 Things Only Hardcore Book Nerds Do
  5. You don’t have to convince me – My library thrills my bookish heart too.
  6. How to make your phone work for you shared something similar to what I do with Look at Your Goals Every Day {Digital Lifehack}

  1. 6 Tips for Working Remotely At Home – I’m not ‘working’ officially right now but I LOVE this article about having structure in your day. I’m currently working on creating this type of day for myself using these tips.
  2. I really love reading how other people organize their lives. I love using a planner for every aspect of my life. I need to see things compartmentalized and on paper to feel put together.
  3. First on this list of the 21 Hottest Books this Summer is The Girls, Emma Cline. I have to admit this one is totally intriguing to me. Have you read it?
  4. 6 Books That Will Inspire You to Lace Up Your Hiking Boots. I cracked a rib in an epic mountain biking crash and ended up taking a month off of hiking, biking, and anything too physical. It’s time to get back out now!
  5. Things Book Bloggers Should Not Worry About. I think our motto on Girlxoxo is ‘Do Your Thing.’ Everything else will work out. We focus on putting out content that we’d love to read ourselves and don’t worry when we have to take a bit of a break.

  7. Are you into bullet journals? You might want to take a look at this Bullet Journal and Planner Dictionary.
  8. 5 Books that Find the Beauty in the Apocalypse. I think I’d have to had The Dog Stars, Peter Heller to this list.
