• 01.01.2011 Hangover Half Marathon (2:18:55). Albany, NY. My first half! Didn't come close to dying like I thought I would - so more please!

• 02.06.2011 Pete Sanfilippo 5 Mile Road Race (45:39:42). LaGrange, NY. PR. This is my 3rd 5 miler and I can now safely say this is my favorite running distance.

• 03.13.2011 Ed Erichson Memorial (10 mile) Race (1:39:06). LaGrange, NY. 3rd in age group. First 10 mile race. Hills as usual - I just need to accept that I live in a very hilly region, and start working on running them well. No more complaining.

• 03.19.2011 Daffodil Day 5K (25:47). Poughkeepsie, NY. Personal best time. I surprised myself by being speedier than normal, despite a hill that tried to take me out.

• 04.03.2011 Greater Danbury Half Marathon (2:08:17). Danbury, CT. Personal Best time. Monstrous hills left my calves screaming after the race. Hills, hills & more hills, but 10 minute PR over 1st half marathon.

• 04.09.2011 Race Around Briggs 7.2 Miles Race (69:57). Milan, NY. Race up and down hills, hills & more hills ... as usual - where are the flat courses?!

• 04.17.2011 Kingston Kiwanis Classic 10K (53:43). Kingston, NY. Personal Best time and 2nd in age group. My 2nd favorite running distance (5 miles is my fave).

• 04.30.2011 Miles for Hope 5K (26:24). LaGrange, NY. Well put on race for a great cause (to raise money for breast cancer research). And where else will you find pink bagels?!



• 05.01.2011 Spring Sprint 5K Trail Run (37:05). Esopus, NY. 1st in age group. First trail run of the year and it was very challenging. Big mistake to not wear trail running shoes as my lightweight Nike Free Run+ just didn't cut it with all the rocky terrain.

• 05.15.2011 Wa Wa Wally Waddle 5K (25:43). Poughkeepsie, NY. Personal best time & 2nd in age group. Packed dirt roads + finish on grass on a wet, rainy day = a ton of fun.

• May 30 Woodstock Races 15K (89:14). 1st in age group
