4 Essential Firefox AddOns For Bloggers

Fifeox Add-Ons

Mozilla Firefox is my browser of choice, having tried others – I keep coming back because it has some awesome add-ons that make my internet browsing experience – and blogging – that much easier. Here are 4 Firefox Add-Ons no blogger should be without.1. Tab Mix Plus – enhances Firefox’s tab browsing capabilities. My settings have it set to open all external links on a website in a new background tab, as well as to have 5 sites in the “undo close tab”.

2. CoLT – (short for “Copy Link Text”) makes it easy to copy either a link’s text, or both the link text and its URL in a format you specify, when you right-click a link.

3. Buffer App. LOVE this. When I’m browsing a website, if I hover over the image, I can – schedule Tweets or posts to other social media website (works for Firefox & Chrome browsers). It will also include an image you select. Works also in Feedly – you can schedule tweets or pins or Facebook updates.

4. Disconnect lets you visualize and block the otherwise invisible websites that track your search and browsing history.

  1. I use Chrome but thinking of switching back to Firefox. I don’t take advantage of Buffer nearly often enough. Thanks for sharing with Small Victories Sunday Linkup. Pinned to our linkup board.

I’m a Google Chrome user, but I was able to find the Buffer app in their store ! So I’ll be experimenting with that one.
The only brower extension I use is ereaderiq which tells you about e-book sales.

@Jess I hope you love Buffer. It’s awesome at setting up tweets or other social media posts on a schedule.
