Currently {I Love January}

Today I’m linking up with Anne and Jenna to share what’s currently happening around here…

LovingThese leggings were a Christmas gift and I’ve been practically living in them since. They are perfect for yoga and for teaching dance in. I love that they’re super long (order tall sizes online) because I can never find leggings to fit my long legs. They’re also just warm enough that they work great for these cold winter months but don’t sweat me out.

Creating– Works of art. Okay- not really, but I have this coloring book of mandalas and paisley patterns that I’ve been working my way through. This is something that I didn’t think I wanted/needed, but now I’m hooked. These are supposed to be stress relieving and for me they really are. I’m seriously having so much fun filling mine in.

Reading- A lot of picture books, over and over and over. This one is a current favorite. Plus, I had this book on hold at the library and it just came in. I’ll probably end up just skimming it but hoping that it has some good ideas or aha! moments in there for me.

Craving– This Chicken Tikka Masala is one of my favorite re ccipes. I love Indian food but it wasn’t until a couple months ago that I started making it at home. Silly how long it took me to try these recipes because they are so easy and I’ve had no trouble finding the ingredients.

Resolving– To take better care of my skin. I am so bad about going to bed with my makeup on but Simple’s Cleansing Micellar Water has changed my beauty routine. I’ve tried a ton of cleansers before but micellar water is the best, by far! It feels great and works great and doesn’t leave my skin all dried out. Plus, it’s just a quick swipe with a cotton ball and I’m done.

Organizing- My kitchen. I’m on a mission to replace all my old cookware with stuff that I really love and I’m completely in love with this new-to-me saute pan. The higher sides are so nice and even though it’s not a wok, it works perfectly for stir fries. I use it every single day, no exaggeration.

    Does Mexican even count as ethnic food these days? Because I could eat that stuff forever and never get tired of it!

    • So true Michelle! I’m right there with you. I love Mexican food.

    I have to give those leggings a try. I have long legs too and anytime I find something to fit me – it’s a keeper! I also swear by fleece lined tights in the winter. There is nothing better.
