Currently… {I Love, May}

mayfavoritesMay is here. Finally! Technically I count June 1 as the start of my summer, but I treat May like it’s in the summer family as well. I start wearing shorts and planning picnics only to realize that it’s still too cold and windy. It can be disappointing but I know we’re just sooo close and soon enough I’ll be complaining that it’s too hot! Here are a few things that I’m loving lately…

WEARING… Havaianas Flip Flops. Six years ago, while in Hawaii, I bought a pair of these flip flops. I fell in love. They are amazingly comfortable and come in the cutest patterns and colors (although I went for a solid color.) I just replaced that pair with some new ones I found on Amazon.

TRYINGLife is Good Hat. I pretty much never wear hats because 1. I don’t like the way they look on me and 2. My head is small so they never fit right. But I really wanted a ball cap to wear while camping to shade my face and hide my greasy, unwashed hair. I ordered this one. We’ll see how it goes.

WORKING OUTPeak Yoga Mat. I’ve been using a cheap yoga mat from Wally https://www.girlxoxo.com/wp-admin/post-new.phpWorld I bought ten years ago. It was time for a new one. This one is memory foam so hopefully it will help relieve the pressure on my wrists.

EATING… Kind Bars. I like them and my kiddo likes them so it’s a win, win. I’m not usually a granola bar person so I’m happy to find a portable snack that I like.

BUYINGBulk Bin Groceries. I hate all the packaging that comes with buying pastas, rice, beans, spices, etc. I’ve slowly been transitioning my pantry to reusable containers and then picking up what I can from the bulk bins.

LOVINGNeutrogena Age Shield Face Oil-Free Lotion & Sunscreen. I have fair skin and Rosacea so that means sunscreen for my face is necessary year round. I love this stuff because it’s SPF 110 and doesn’t make my face feel greasy. I’ve also been using Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby Sunscreen on the little dude and we love it!
