July #BookBlogger Events

One of the most awesome things about the book blogging community is all the events that you can participate in. Here are a few that you can join in July.

July #BookBlogger Events

June 22 – Sep. 22, 1018. #SummerSoLit Book Bingo Challenge. This challenge takes the form of a bingo board. The baseline goal is to read a book for two single lines vertically, horizontally, or diagonally on the board. On the last day of the reading challenge come back to your host page to enter your completed books.

July 1 – 31, 2018. High Summer Readathon hosted by Michelle of Seasons of Reading. Just read, read, and read some more. Read when you can for as long as you can – whatever you want. #HSReadathon and check out the Facebook group too.

July 21-22, 2018. #24in48 ReadaThon. Beginning at 12:01am on Saturday morning and running through 11:59pm on Sunday night, participants read for 24 hours out of that 48-hour period.

July 27-28, 2018. Dewey’s Reverse Summer RadaThon. Start time is 8:00 PM EST on Friday and it’ll run through 8 PM Saturday. 24 hours. Read as much as you can – and do a few mini challenges too.

Ongoing …

May 28 – Sep. 5, 2018. Big Book Summer Reading Challenge. How many 400+ page books can you read from Memorial Day to Labor Day. I look forward to this challenge every year!

  1. Hi, Tanya –

I was happy to see on your comment on my blog that you are again joining the fun for Big Book Summer! Just wanted to remind you that you haven’t actually signed up yet. No problem – there is still plenty of time. Just leave a sign-up link on the challenge page so that others can find their way to your blog, too! You don’t need a dedicated sign-up post – any post where you mention and link to the challenge is fine.

Welcome to the Big Book Summer!
    Sue
