Keep It!? Revisiting Faves From Last Year #AMonthofFaves

I shared my faves for 2016 here and here this year. So let’s look back at what my faves were one year ago (2015) and see if I’m still as sold on them now and I was then.

Gear

✺ 1. KMashi 10000mAh External Battery Power Bank. I still use this, but it’s too big for me to carry with on a daily, so instead I keep it in my laptop sleeve, and take it with me when to work and when I travel – but not in my everyday treks anymore.

The Eats & Drinks

✺ 2. Black Sheep Yogurt – Still love, but unfortunately it’s not available in the Mid-West, so I don’t eat it anymore.

✺ 3. Smartfood Delight Popcorn. Most of the time we pop our own popcorn, so we haven’t been buying this much anymore.

✺ 4. Caribbean Dreams Instant Ginger Tea. This is still my everything!

✺ 5. Oster Blend-N-Go MyBlend Blender. Still going strong – it’s perfect because it’s also a travel mug … which also explains why only 1 of the 3 bottles that came with it can be found.

The Treats

✺ 6. Carrington Farms Pure, Unrefined, Cold Pressed 100% Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil. Sadly, my hair decided not to like coconut oil anymore! It’s drying and from my internet / Youtube trolling of people who are way more into these things that I – my hair might be protein sensitive and doesn’t like coconut oil … and doesn’t actually need any oil.

✺ 7. Pedicures. Still the best way to pamper myself on a regular basis … like every 2 weeks, or a little less when I’m trying to save some $$

So – of my 7 faves last year … 4 are still going strong, while 3 are no more. I love looking back like this because it shows that tastes change – and something you love this year … well, might just not be on your radar the next.

  1. LOVE pedis! They are the best!!!!

  2. This is a fantastic idea! We so often list things as favorites but rarely look back to see which ones are still going strong. I think it’s fun to see what types of things stay valuable (or favorites for other reasons) and which kind of fade away…

  3. Pedicures are my favorite pampering as well…mostly because I can read during them. Unlike a massage!
