  1. I’ve just been going back over my blog posts and realized I hadn’t linky-ed anything since february! D: Anyway here is my book review for my March read – Rivers of London by Ben Aaronovitch. I thought I’d only missed one linky, not three! Big shock!

This wasn’t a thriller, but the main character does go under cover. She’s a woman pretending to be a man to fight in the Civil War. http://andreasbooknook.blogspot.com/2017/03/i-shall-be-near-to-you.html

I forgot to post this! My February monthly motif read was the Holmes-inspired Wild Boy and the Black Terror by Rob Lloyd Jones https://murderundergroundbrokethecamel.wordpress.com/2017/02/20/wild-boy-and-the-black-terror/

@Anna It’s awesome that you got in 2 books for the theme.

  4. Finished Her Every Fear by Peter Swanson in February, but just recently wrote the review. I gave it a 2/5, an ok read, but not the best.

    Here’s my review:

I just finished The Hunt for Red October by Tom Clancy last night. It was my first Jack Ryan thriller and I can’t wait to go to Patriot Games next. http://www.molibrarian.com/2017/03/book-review-hunt-for-red-october-by-tom.html

  6. My chosen book for this month is Orangeboy by Patrice Lawrence! This isn’t your average undercover spy type story, but instead focuses on a young boy who, after a tragic end to his date, is pulled into his brother’s world of drugs and gang warfare and decides to do a little undercover investigating of his own!

I finished my book for the month last night. I chose one that had been on my shelf unread for years – ‘The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency’ by Alexander McCall Smith. Here is my review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/1914636540?book_show_action=false&from_review_page=1

I keep writing down these books! lol I know we are nearing the end of the month so I am already trying to think of what to read for next month. Something about time travel or a dystopian society. I could read A Clockwork Orange again. Or I could read the second in the series my daughter got, the Unwind series. Loved the first book so would love to see what happens to the kids now. But open to suggestions 🙂

    • @Dorothy – The second book of the Unwind series was excellent, much better than the first!! I recommend that one!

      • Dorothy Dickerson

        Feb 27

Cool I’ll start with that and move on to either the third one or Clockwork Orange. I think I have something in my kindle library that will work too. Lots too read, little time 🙂

    • Tanya Patrice

      Mar 11

@Dorothy I’m excited to see what you pick for next month’s theme. I’m having trouble settling on a book to read.

      • Dorothy Dickerson

        Mar 12

I’m starting with the second book in the Unwind Series. It’s dystopian and I think that was one of the options. That and time travel-ish. My next will probably be A Clockwork Orange. And then I have something on my tablet that I can’t recall the title but it was about someone who finds themselves in the past.

        • Tanya Patrice

          Mar 13

@Dorothy Excellent choices! I’m starting with a dystopian too – Margaret Atwood’s Year of the Flood.

            Mar 13

The Woman in Cabin 10 – not too bad, but the main character was a little whiny – which I hate!

You are making me want to read some more Clive Custler! I haven’t read one of his books in a few years.

      • Dorothy Dickerson

        Feb 22

I have a friend who has a lot of his books and when I told her what the monthly motif was she gave me four books. All of them from the Oregon Files. I may get the third one done she loaned me at least. Good stuff! 🙂
