This week was all about me trying to get together a schedule so that I would be in sync with all aspects of life – family stuff, work, fitness, blogging. Are you a fan of having a routine, or are you more of the go-with-the-flow type?

Books Finished This Week: Double Dead, Chuck Wendig. Zombies + Vampires = a fast paced, fun book.
Currently Reading: Armada, Ernest Cline. This book is sure to delight video game lovers with all the gaming references. I’m not quite half-way through, but already I feel like I’m a bit sick of reading about playing video-games.
Zack tells himself, he knows the difference between fantasy and reality … And then he sees the flying saucer. Even stranger, the alien ship he’s staring at is straight out of the videogame he plays every night, a hugely popular online flight simulator called Armada—in which gamers just happen to be protecting the earth from alien invaders.”

Goals for Next Week
Prepare for the #WickedGoodReads Event in October …
Challenge Update
💖 Crossed 1 book off my list of 6 Books on My Fall Reading List {The Mixed Bag Edition}, and started on another.
💖 I re-committed to the Book Riot Read Harder Challenge. So far, I’ve read books from 9 of the 24 categories, and will try to do at least half before the year’s finished.
💖3 books finished for R.I.P. X.
#WeeklyWorkouts
Horrific week, as I only managed to do the remaining foundation classes from Crossfit. Running = 0 miles (grrr…). So, I’m setting weekly goals – next week, attend 3 Crossfit classes + running 15 miles total + register for a 5K in October.
What have you been up to this week?

I am a fan of adult coloring books. They really help with my perfectionism and definitely help me stay focused on the process–even if I don’t like the final product. Also: great way to get some audiobook reading in.

Yup, me, too – must have a routine or I get distracted and don’t get the stuff done that really needs to get done!
I absolutely loved Ready Player One by Cline – are you not enjoying this one as much?
I’ve been reading a lot for RIP X, too! Now I just need to catch up on reviews…
Enjoy your books this week –

@Sue – I loved Ready Player One too. Armada is getting a bit better – but it’s very “videogame intense” in the beginning.
