16 Things This Week [13/2020]

Like (most of) the rest of the World, I’ve been staying at home and obsessively watching the news about COVID-19 (CNN and BBC) coverage. I legit couldn’t crack open a book for the past 2 weeks, but this week, I made a concerted effort to dial back the obsession because it was making me way too anxious. My company has partnered with Feeding America and I’m doing my small bit by donating from every paycheck until this crisis is over or I can no longer afford it. Then I took the advice in 5 Ways to Figure Out What to Read Next When You’re Practicing Social Distancing and have been much more balanced ever since.

So, let’s talk about something other than Coronavirus shall we ….

FOUR+ Library uses who use Overdrive, listen up – Overdrive drops automatic hold checkout, offers “hold redelivery”. When a hold becomes available, a user will receive a notification and have 3 days to pick up the hold. The user can then borrow the hold, have it delivered later, or cancel it.
