Tanya Patrice here checking in with you all. It’s been a roller coaster of a year and here’s what I’ve been up to recently.

Santa with Gators

ONE+ It’s my favorite time of year – Christmas season! It’s my first in Florida and I’m loving how not cold it is at this time of the year. It’s still shorts and t-shirt weather … just the way I like it. At the airport a few days ago, I saw this Santa with his “gator-sleigh” – only in Florida!

TWO+ I would normally be putting up a round-up of “All the Reading Challenges” about now – but unfortunately, I’m not doing it this year, but there’s tons of reading challenges are on StoryGraph.

THREE+ I had a HORRIBLE reading slump that lasted a few months. I’ve just now started to read again. I recently finished The Last Anniversary, Liane Moriarty, The Book of Cold Cases, Simone St. James and Gallant, V. E. Schwab – all I enjoyed immensely.

FOUR+ “Best Books of the Year” lists are out – here’s Amazon’s, Barnes & Noble, Publisher’s Weekly, NPR, and The NY Times 100 Nost Notable.

FIVE+ I’m a sucker for Christmas holiday movies (OK – almost all things Christmas related) – this Guide to Holiday Movies Releasing in 2022 has been bookmarked! I also have a loong list of favorites to re-watch.

SIX+ Just putting in this pic. of my first attempt at a charcuterie-ish board. When my parents and kids visit later this month I’ll probably try this Christmas Dessert Charcuterie Board.

SEVEN+ This week is the end of November, start of December … last month of the year. Join us for #AMonthofFaves if you can.

I’ve lived in Florida since the end of ’85, you’ll definitely be seeing a lot more “only in Florida things 🙂
I’m so sad…I loved your “All the Reading Challenges” posts and have been checking your blog for it since the beginning of November. But thanks for the link, I’ll go check it out.
Reading slumps are terrible, I’ve been in one since the end of last year.
Thanks for the “Best Books Of The Year” links
Just in the last few years I’ve gotten addicted to Christmas movies, I love them!

My daughter in law did a charcuterie board for Christmas last year, my daughter is doing one for Christmas this year.
I hope you have a great week!
