Summer loving! Having a blast! Grease, anyone? I think it’s safe to say that summer is our jam here at GXO! We love it! We live for it! And we’ve found a few things that are summer must haves for us and we want to share…

ONE. Bags! I finally splurged on this Large Utility Tote that I’ve been eyeing. I got mine on clearance and I LOVE it. I use it for everything- grocery pick up, packing towels and swim stuff for the beach, filling with soccer balls and frisbee’s for park plays, etc. While I was at it, I also picked up this Deluxe Utility Tote and it’s awesome. I stuff the side pockets with hand sanitizer, sun screen, and water bottles and throw the boys lunch boxes and change of the clothes in the middle zip up pouch.
TWO. A cute tank top (or two or three). I asked for this Visit Tatooine tank top for Mother’s Day and I’ve worn the heck out of it already. It makes my Star Wars loving heart happy.
THREE. A Cold Beverage. Come summertime I start making Lemonade Hibiscus Tea and it’s my favorite thing to sip on during those hot months. I keep a pitcher of it constantly in the refrigerator and brew a new batch once every couple of days.

FOUR+ I might have mentioned it a time or 2 … or 20 … that summer is my favorite time of year. Like Kim, I’m all about Lemonade all summer long. It’s so easy to make – sugar, lemon juice and water. Stir. Sip. Done.
I use freshly squeezed lemons … but I also make it from lemon juice concentrate if I don’t have any lemons. For the adult beverage version – I’ll mix in some Svedka Strawberry Lemonade Vodka.
FIVE+ Summer means nature walks which is my absolute favorite thing to do. People in my neighborhood have some gorgeous gardens planted and I love checking them out especially since I’m trying to get ideas for my own.
I already mentioned in June Favorites that I have got a lot of Annabelle hydrangeas planted and my oh my – they put on a lovely show with their massive white blooms.
SIX+ I also of course bring summer touches inside. Our main dining room gets some colorful faux flowers.
We tend to use more paper plates and napkins, so I buy the colorful ones, and some summer themed napkins and tumblers.
