(T)ravel Kit Essentials {The Summer Edition} #SummerAtoZ

Summer Travel Kit

My traveling kit is always stocked and stored in my carry-on luggage. At the beginning of each season, I refresh and update it. Here’s what’s in it currently, for a summer of travel – flights and road trips.

Travel Kit

Toothbrush & Toothbrush holder – I prefer “Medium bristle” toothbrushes and the holders that cover the entire toothbrush – not just the head.

Toothpaste, Mouthwash & FlossCrest and Listerine brands.

Face and Body Wash – Even though hotels provide bar soaps, they are too drying for my face, so I take Yes to Tomatoes Daily Clarifying Cleanser and Dove Go Fresh Body Wash and

Lotion and MoisturizerVaseline Intensive Care Essential Healing Lotion because it’s light and not greasy. Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer is just something I picked up to try.

Deodorant and more. Secret Invisible Solid because Secret is my #1 deodorant brand. My husband loves Axe products, so I decided to try the Axe Anarchy For Her Daily Fragrance, for an all around pleasant but subtle essence during the day.

Advil (1 of my 2 go to brands for pain relief) and Blistex which is my favorite lip balm brand. And of course, there’s the feminine care item that every girl should have with her all the time.

In My MakeUp Bag

I don’t do a lot of makeup so my setup is very minimal.

Facial Wipes – for makeup removal, Burt Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes.

Lip Stuff. Wet n Wild MegaSlicks Lip Gloss and Balm Stain. It varies from trip to trip of course – but those 2 have been my go-to all summer long.

Makeup. Primer, MAC Foundation and powder. This never changes.

Not pictured: brush with ponytail holder wrapped around the handle,  cotton balls and blend sponge.

I’ve never had to pull my toiletries out of my carry-on, and I’ve never put them in a ziploc bag. What brands / products are you loving – travel size?

I love the fact that you keep your traveling kit ready and keep it in your carry-on. That’s a great idea! I don’t travel that much but I can see how having those things tucked away, always ready would help.

@Renee it’s one less step. Even the rest of my family doesn’t travel as much have kits kept in their carry-ons.
