One of the most awesome things about the book blogging community is all the events that you can participate in. Here are a few that you can join in April.

April #BookBlogger Events

Apr. 1-30, 2017. A Very ARC-ish Read-a-Long. A month long readathon where you try and read as many ARCs as you can to catch up with your TBR.

Apr. 1-30, 2017. Where in the World Will Your Nobel Take You? This is the combination of 2 perpetual reading challenges. Travel the World in Books challenges you to – Travel the world in books. Read the Nobels challenges you to – Read books authored by those who have won the Nobel Prize for Literature. This April challenge is very simple … Read ONE book this April that qualifies for both challenges.

Apr. 17-30, 2017. Spring Into Horror Read-a-Thon. There is only one rule – Read at least 1 scary book – horror, paranormal, thriller, mystery, etc. Sign up to participate, and then link up to your review to be entered into a giveaway.

Apr. 1-30. Classic Children’s Literature Event. During the month of April, read as many Children’s Classics as you wish and post about them on your blog and link-up on the event page. The optional Read-a-long book is Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Lewis Carroll, which will be discussed the weekend of April 21-23.

Apr. 29, 2017Dewey’s 24-hour Readathon. For 24 hours read books, post to your blogs, Twitters, Tumblrs, Goodreads and MORE, and visit other readers’ homes online.Plus participate in mini-challenges throughout the day.


Mar. 1 – May 30, 2017. Bookish Bingo Spring 2017. The purpose of this challenge is to push ourselves to read more, and to broaden our horizons a little bit. Can you make a BINGO on the card?

  1. Thanks for sharing our Travel the World in Books/Read the Nobels event. I’ll be traveling to India with The Jungle Books by Rudyard Kipling with my boys and hopefully head to Colombia with Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez too. I didn’t realize there’s another Spring into Horror readathon and Dewey’s again this month. Time is just flying by!
