Monthly Motif December Check In

The theme for this month’s 2016 Monthly Motif Reading Challenge is Best for Last! It’s all about finishing up those series you’ve been working on or reading a book you’ve been meaning to get to all year!

Hello challenge readers! So sorry this check in post is late for the month. It seems I’m too focused on getting to 2017 but I’ve still got things to finish up for 2016!

Check back at the end of the month for a Monthly Motif 2016 Challenge Wrap Up post. We’ll be talking about how we did with the challenge all year, our favorite motifs and our least favorite motifs. There will be a linky so you can link up if you plan to write your own wrap up post.

Kim – Here is the series I’m hoping to finish this month…

Dreams of Gods and Monsters, Laini Taylor

By way of a staggering deception, Karou has taken control of the chimaera rebellion and is intent on steering its course away from dead-end vengeance. The future rests on her, if there can even be a future for the chimaera in war-ravaged Eretz.

Earlier in the year I finished The Raven Boys series, Maggie Steifvater and boy was I sad to say goodbye to some of my favorite characters of all time.

What books do you hope to check off your list before the end of 2016?

When you’ve completed your November read for this challenge, link to your review using the linky below. The linky will remain open until December 10th.
