One of the most awesome things about the book blogging community is all the events that you can participate in. Here are a few that you can join in March.

#BookBlogger Events

Mar. 1-31. Take Control of Your TBR Pile. For the entire month of March you focus on reading/listening to books in your TBR pile released before March 1, 2018.

Mar. 1 – 31. #MarchMagics. Celebrating the works of Diana Wynne Jones and Terry Pratchett. The theme this year is “Nothing but the Shorts.”

Mar. 19-25. Spring Bloggiesta. This is a week long event with mini-challenges to help you improve your blog and internet presence.


#BookAwards Happenings in March

  • Mar. 3. Winners of the Bram Stoker Awards will be announced … a recognition presented annually by the Horror Writers Association for “superior achievement” in dark fantasy and horror writing.
  • Mar. 8. Longlist for the Bailey’s Women’s Prize for Fiction will be announced. “The Prize is awarded annually and celebrates excellence, originality and accessibility in women’s writing from throughout the world.”
  • ar. 12. Longlist for The Man Booker International Prize. This award is for the “best” book translated into English.
  • Mar. 15. Winners of the National Book Critics Circle Awards. will be announced. I’m rushing to read all the finalists!
  • Mar. 21. Finalists for the RITA (Romance) Awards which promotes excellence in the romance genre by recognizing outstanding published romance novels and novellas.
  • Mar. 31. Finalists for The Christy Awards which is designed to nurture and encourage creativity and quality in the writing and publishing of fiction written from a Christian worldview and showcase the diversity of genres.
