Monthly Motif December Check-In [Last Chance]

Here we are friends- the last month of the 2019 Monthly Motif Reading Challenge! We hope you’ve had a blast with it. It’s been fun being your hosts and using each motif to expand our reading a bit more. Here’s what we’ve got planned for December…

Last Chance

“Finally read that one book you’ve been meaning to get to all year long.”

Our Choices

✩ KIM ✩

For this one I’m going to try to get to King of Scars, Leigh Bardugo. I’ve had it from Audible for awhile now and really want to read it this month. I foolishly signed up for a few buddy reads this month too, so yikes! I’ve got my reading cut out for me.

Face your demons…or feed them. The dashing young king, Nikolai Lantsov, has always had a gift for the impossible. No one knows what he endured in his country’s bloody civil war―and he intends to keep it that way. Now, as enemies gather at his weakened borders, Nikolai must find a way to refill Ravka’s coffers, forge new alliances, and stop a rising threat to the once-great Grisha Army.

✤ TANYA ✤

My goal is to read al least one of book for the challenge months that I didn’t get to finish. So …

  • AUGUST – Mode of Transportation – Read a book where the mode of transportation plays a role in the story (ex. Murder on the Orient Express or The Boys in the Boat)
  • OCTOBER – Tricks and Trades – Read a book set in a theater, an amusement park, a circus, or a book involving magic, illusions, or characters with special powers.

Tell us what you plan on reading in the comments – and then Remember to use the linky below to link up to your reads for this month and make sure to check out the other links as well!

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!
