5 Ways We Brought the Fall Vibes Inside This Year

We live for all the seasons and holidays and now that we’ve packed away our Halloween stuff, we’re amping up the cozy vibes and fully embracing Fall – bringing the inspiration from outside … to inside.

ONE+ The streets around my neighborhood pop with color during the fall season with a show of oranges, yellows and browns. We don’t have many flowers blooming in the garden at this point, so I added some chrysanthemums to pots in front of our house and they’re putting on quite a show. Yes – this is not technically “inside our home” – but it’s pretty close.

TWO+ Inside, I kept the Fall colors going with orange and yellow candles on our front dining room table. Plus the obligatory pumpkins – faux of course – because I’m not trying to always have to re-buy the same thing every year solely for decoration.

The husband says there’s too much going on here – we’re usually pretty minimalist when it comes to the table – but I tried something different this time. I’m completely in love with these tapered  candlestick holders and to create a seasonal vibe – I just need to change out the color of the candles … win, win!

THREE+ My favorite treat for Fall has to be the cranberry-orange muffins from Panera Bread. This year I decided to make my own using Krusteaz Cranberry Orange Muffin Mix, which was pretty good.

Next time though, I’ll try it from scratch. There’s quite a few “copy-cat” recipes around.

FOUR+ Soup season has also started for me. Like I mentioned last year, my chicken noodle soup game is strong, but this year, I made something I’ve wanted to do for a long time – Wonton soup. It’s super easy if you buy Trader Joe’s Chicken Cilantro Mini Wontons and use this Easy 15 Minute Wonton Soup recipe.

FIVE+ And of course – there’s tea! I’ve been drinking lots – to tell the truth, I drink it year-round. In October Favorites, I mentioned my love of Ivy’s Nips Tea , but another one that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed recently is Harney & Sons Peach Ginger Twist Black Tea. It’s light on the ginger but there’s a deliciously fragrant peach aroma and a surprisingly light, fruity flavor.

Those are just some of the ways I bring the cozy Fall vibes into the home. What have you been doing differently this Fall?
