A Running Bucket List for 2016

Running Bucket List

Running Bucket List

I try to stay motivated with my workouts by thinking of all the awesome events I can compete in when I’ve finally got it all together. So here’s a look at some of my “Big Dreams” for running in the near future.

  1. Complete all these races in one year – 5K, 10K, 15K, 5 mile, 10 mile and a Half Marathon.
  2. Run a race with a member of my family.
  3. Run a themed race, like the Santa Run 5K I did last year. Santa Run 5K
  4. Run in a different country or state – whether a race, or just along some well known trails.
  5. Become a more social runner – join a running club, or join in on group runs regularly.

What’s something that keeps you motivated to workout?

  2. My aim this year is to just find the time to run three times a week. Somehow things get in the way and I only end up at twice. I’d love to be a social runner too, but all the hassle of setting up a time with others and the stress of sticking to it makes me think twice.

  3. Those are all terrific goals! I particularly love numbers 2 and 7. Those sound very motivating!
